Quality Associate

2nd shift Entry Level Quality Technician

4 - 10-hour shifts – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 1:30 pm - 12:00 am (Thursday, Friday & Sunday off)

$16.00 to start $17.25 after QA Tech II training completed (generally it takes 60 - 90 days to complete)

POSITION SUMMARY

Quality Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of products produced from the receiving to shipping. They are responsible for monitoring Good Manufacturing Practices & facility temperatures, performing process checks & facility inspections, and embodying DNO’s stringent food safety & quality standards.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Product weight checks
• Environmental temperature monitoring
• Sanitizer station testing
• Effective communication – written and verbal
• Metal detector operational testing
• Package integrity monitoring
• Pre-shift inspections
• Oversees GMP compliance
• Other related tasks as assigned
• Tech I’s are expected to begin training into a Tech II role at or before 90 days of employment

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge:

• Quality Technician – Tech I training will be provided in-house upon hire

Skills/Abilities:

• Smart Phone/Tablet Competency
• Ability to work within a multi-department team
• Able to work evenings and weekends
• Standing/walking for the duration of the shift minus breaks
• Typical reaching, lifting, & bending
• Proficient in reading and writing English
• Bi-lingual a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

Variable inside temperatures, including extreme cold (temperatures at about 32 degrees).
