Job Responsibilities
• Operate forklift (5k or 10K) to load/unload trailers
• Inventory and replenish workover trailers and remote storage locations with materials
• Operate yard truck for the purpose of loading and unloading trailers
• Interface with an on-site customer and build relationships
• Receive in and verify material to the Pipeyard
• Maintain remote storage locations and pipe yard to a 5S standard
• Utilize technology, problem solve and challenge yourself to think of process improvement ideas on a daily basis
• Learn and function in the SAP system we use for material management at a high level – always ensuring that systematic movements mirror physical material movement • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
High School diploma and/or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience with heavy equipment operation
• Forklift certification on 5k and 10k forklifts a plus
• Experience working in a pipe yard or warehouse preferred
• Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
• Ability to make and be accountable for decisions
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, and organizational skills
• Possess integrity and a dedication to results
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Branch employees
