Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer will be a key contributor to our small but very active Creative Services team. In this roll we’re looking to add a skilled designer who has experience designing for a wide variety of formats, both large and small. You’ll also be assisting with a number of tasks that are shared within the department. This is a fast-paced environment that shifts gears when needed. Self-motivation, open-mindedness, and a willingness to listen to feedback is a must.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- (60%) Graphic Design - Photo Booth Design, Photo Strip Design, Web Graphics,
- (20%) Pre-press Production - Pre-press Production Booth Panel Print Files Setu
- (15%) Graphic Support (Sales Materials & Presentations) - Graphic Support- Project Proposals, Brochure and POP Signage
- (5%) File Organization - Update and Maintain Image Library
Required Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of five years’ experience in the graphic design field preferred
- Microsoft Suite
- Mac OS X
- Photoshop CS
- Adobe CC - Illustrator
- InDesign CS
- Acrobat
Preferred Knowledge:
- After Effects
- Media Encoder
- An understanding of typography and layout
- UX/UI Design experience (a plus but not required)
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with other departments
- The ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment/switch gears when needed
- The ability to see projects through from the beginning to production
- Knowledge of current trends among pre-teens & teens (preferred)
