DNV's Risk Advisory Services is seeking a Consultant- Risk Management (Health Safety and Environment)
Managing risk and uncertainty is one of the most fundamental roles in the energy sector and other process industries. The Risk section covers various services, including RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) modeling, Quantitative Risk Analysis, Functional Safety, FMEA/FMECA, and Data Analysis.
This role is mainly technical, with some elements of customer engagement. These may involve attending project meetings, presenting results, and identifying future business opportunities with new and existing clients. Training will be provided to not only enhance technical knowledge but also in areas such as Project Management.
This position will ideally be based out of our Katy (TX) office.

As required by the various Pay Transparency laws, DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado, California, Washington, or New York. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the states of Colorado, California, Washington, and New York only, the range of starting pay for this role is $76,000 - $120,000.

Minimum Requirements
- 1 – 5 years of relevant experience in upstream, midstream or downstream energy sector
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical discipline
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
- Analytical skills to draw conclusions and develop recommendations for our clients
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills – ability to communicate with all levels in an organization
- Ability to form relationships with customers
- We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
What Is Preferred
- Previous experience as part of a major capital project
- Knowledge of oil and gas equipment and processes
- Knowledge of risk analysis methods
- Perform quantitative modeling of different scenarios
Salary : $76,000 - $120,000
