About The Role

As a Technical Product Specialist, you'll be the technical expert for our cutting-edge weather data and forecasting products, including Solcast, Wind Power Forecasts, and Electricity Load Forecasts. You'll play a vital role in supporting our sales team, assisting customers, and ensuring our products are technically sound and well-integrated. The Technical Product Specialist is a product-focused expert who provides subject matter and technical expertise to the product and sales teams, as well as customers. You will ensure our products are well represented technically in sales and customer engagements, and that customers derive maximum value from our offerings. You will work closely with the sales team to deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations, assist customers with product usage, and troubleshoot technical issues. You will also contribute to product discovery and delivery processes, working closely with Product Directors and their teams.
This position will be based in one of our North America DNV offices, following our hybrid work model. Locations can be Austin, TX. Houston, TX. Okemos, MI, Chalfont, PA and other locations listed .

What You’ll Do
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team, assisting with product demonstrations, presentations, and technical inquiries
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical support and guidance, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in product discovery and delivery processes, providing subject matter expertise and technical insights to the product team
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for products and associated integrations
- Maintain knowledge of the latest renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings

About You
What Is Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Meteorology, Engineering, Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role related to weather data, forecasting, or renewable energy
- Relevant certifications in meteorology, forecasting, or renewable energy technologies are a plus
- Strong understanding of weather data, forecasting methodologies, and their applications in the renewable energy industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
