- Monitor and document the production process to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials and finished products
- Identify and report potential food safety issues and deviations from established standards
- Collect and analyze product samples for the presence of harmful microorganisms or chemical contaminants
- Work closely with the production team to ensure implementation of appropriate food safety measures
- Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Participate in audits carried out by internal teams or external regulatory bodies
- Train staff on proper food handling procedures to maintain a hygienic production environment
- Prepare and present quality assurance reports and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
