- Prepare and grill a variety of meats, fish, and seafood, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation in accordance with airline and DO & CO standards.
- Execute diverse cooking techniques, including roasting, broiling, braising, sautéing, and grilling.
- Adhere to standardized recipes and promptly notify the Chef or Sous Chef of any ingredient shortages or discrepancies.
- Oversee food production flow, ensuring efficient processing and timing to prevent delays.
- Strictly comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations outlined in the food safety management system handbook.
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies at cooking stations.
- Collaborate with the Executive or Sous Chef in developing new dish presentations and culinary innovations.
- Promote a cooperative and efficient kitchen environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of cooking/grill experience, preferably in a high-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary education is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle a substantial workload.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proactive approach with attention to detail, including monitoring and minimizing food wastage.
- Adopts a hands-on approach and exhibits the ability to respond promptly with a sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
