Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations within your assigned area, guiding the culinary team with expertise and precision.
- Ensure daily excellence in food preparation, presentation, portion control, and cost management.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and lead tasting sessions to maintain the highest quality.
- Standardize recipes to ensure consistent flavors and presentation across all dishes.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on ingredient inventory, ensuring no shortages or quality concerns.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of catering services, focusing on cost, quality, presentation, and innovation.
- Meet production schedules and maintain exceptional quality standards across all dishes.
- Assist with catering proposals, menu development, budgeting, and staff scheduling.
- Maintain staffing levels in line with business needs and uphold safety standards in line with state and federal regulations.
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a culture of culinary excellence.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen.
- Strong foundation in Indian culinary techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts preferred.
- Familiarity with industry trends, with a passion for creating exceptional, innovative cuisine.
- Expected salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually.
