Help with the creation of fruit salad, pastries and other baked items, measuring ingredients, kneading dough, taking items in and out of the oven, and placing products on cooling racks. Help Chefs, prepare ingredients and clean kitchens.

60 %Assist pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing pastry products, plating cold meals such as fruit salads and pastries. Use knife skills for cutting and peeling fruit. Perform tasks in different station such as (Fruit cutting station, economy packing station, juice station, basket station, assembling and plating food etc.)
25 %Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
10 % Keep immediate work area clean at all times and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.

- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
- Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards and follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef
- Assist kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
- Other duties as assigned.
