Responsibilities
- Receive ordered foods and beverages, check delivery notes, verify quantity received and check received goods (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable products according to internal procedures
- Ensure traceability integrity is maintained
- Distribute products internally according to food safety rules and storage orders
- Adhere to HACCP and all other food safety rules (e.g. FIFO, date marking, Julian marking, correct storage etc.)
- Conduct inventory and accomplish goals and objectives while adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure that all cases are broken down and labeled with a Julian Label/ Internal Lot coding system
- Breakdown palettes and boxes, store items in designated areas, and ensure receiving area is cleared in a timely manner
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in storing and handling merchandise preferably in the food industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
- Estimated pay: $18.90 per hour.
