Activities Assistant Responsibilities include:
- Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful and courteous
- Acts as a positive representative of community at all times.
- Helps to develop programming based on the resident preferences
- Maintains a confidentiality of all resident information
- Complies with Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues and quality of life issues.
- Ensure that residents are free from abuse (physicals, verbal and sexual)
- Supports resident independent recreation, based on individual preferences.
- Attends all in-service education programs mandated by CSL, State and Federal guidelines
- Ensures the residents' right to make personal choices in agreement with the residents' service plan.
- Promotes and provides for and assist with residents' participation in activities.
