Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with warmth and energy, setting the tone for a great experience
- Manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- While servers are assigned specific sections, the entire restaurant is your responsibility—teamwork is key to ensuring all guests have a great experience
- Help guests navigate the Korean BBQ experience, including explaining how tableside grilling works
- Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately, with attention to detail and timing
- Keep up with multiple orders, guest needs, and communication with the kitchen and team
- Prep and maintain sections as needed—ensuring everything is stocked and ready for service
- Create a fun, welcoming vibe that reflects the personality of Do Si Korean BBQ
- Ensure all alcohol is served responsibly and only to guests 21 and over—ID must be checked when required
- Follow all state and house rules for serving liquor, including refusing service when necessary (including soju-specific laws)
- Keep your section clean and organized throughout your shift, and assist with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant
- Help other team members when needed to maintain smooth service and a positive guest experience
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience required
- Friendly, upbeat, and team-oriented personality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Interest in Korean culture is a bonus (we love fans!)
- Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Bilingual in Korean and Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- MAST Permit (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) required
- Food Handler’s Card required
