Position Summary
Doane University is seeking a Strategic Data Analyst II to support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and enhancing data governance and reporting. This role combines strategic thinking with technical analytics expertise and plays a key role in advancing our data maturity model through data modeling, reporting, and ensuring data quality. Collaborating closely with institutional leadership, the Strategic Data Analyst II will provide insights that drive operational and business improvements, while also reducing reporting burdens on database administrators.
Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in statistical analysis, data storytelling, and the ability to train staff to improve data proficiency.

The pay is determined by experience and starts at $80,000
Minimum Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with at least three years of experience in :
- Data Analysis and Manipulation, Data Visualization and Business Intelligence, Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modeling, Data Warehousing and Big Data, Data Integration, ETL, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analytics, Data Governance and Management, Reporting and Automation
- Data governance and ensuring data quality across systems
