I. General Job Description


This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the PacLease on highway and vocational rental fleets. 


The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the organization of all reservations and completion of all agreements as required for assigned branch(s). 
  • Reviews all rental transactions to make sure minimum margins as set forth by the Director of Leasing are adhered to at all times.
  • Reviews all rental transaction and agreements to ensure that proper insurance as per Paccar Leasing’s guidelines are obtained prior to customer taking delivery of unit(s).
  • Reviews all rental transactions to ensure that all agreements are filled our accurately and completely.
  • Reviews all rental transactions to ensure that credit is approved by the Dobbs Leasing credit department prior to rental taking place. 
  • Reviews all rental transactions to ensure that all outbound and inbound inspections were properly completed. 
  • Seek out and obtain new business. 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction for existing customers.
  • Complete and publish daily rental utilization reports. 
  • Manage Rental Performance System to ensure all rentals and RPO’s are properly inputted in to the system. 
  • Work with PacLease and dealership Service team to locate substitutes for downed FSL vehicles, and minimize timeline of how many days subs are out
  • Develop and manage Rental Turn down log
  • Management of fuel used by the rental fleet ensuring customers are rebilled in accordance with Dobbs Leasing policy guidelines.
  • Execute the Dobbs Leasing process for check-ins ensuring that turnaround times for units from customer check in to ready to rent condition is minimized. This includes coordinating service checks, washing, fueling, and placement of rental ready trucks in designated ready line area.
  • Tracking and management of the physical location of rental and RPO units. 
  • Monthly reporting of all rental unit book values cross-referenced with fair market values and rental utilization status for sales feasibility evaluation.
  • Work with administrative team to ensure compliance regarding trip records and fuel receipts for fuel tax reporting purposes  
  • Develop and present sales proposals to prospects for all product and service offerings.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing programs/strategies and aggressively pursue credit worthy prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts/suppliers to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Maintain rental and RPO inventory in CRM database. 
  • Management of rental Clerk’s daily activities as needed. 
  • Completes various other tasks and assignments as directed by the Director of Leasing

II. Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales or management.

III. Desired Job Qualifications

  • Commercial truck lease and rental industry experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License and qualified MVR abstract.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

  • Mathematics: Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
