Tire and Lube Technician

We are looking for Tire & Lube Technicians, and we want people who want to grow with us and take up roles as ASE Certified Mechanical Technicians, Hunter Trained Alignment Technicians, and Retail Sales Manager spots. Dobbs Tire & Auto Center invests in our associates. We will provide the training to get you to that next level, you just have to show that you want it.

What you will do:

Dismounts and mounts tires. Examines damaged, defective or flat tires to determine feasibility of repairs. Repairs damaged tires and tubes of automotive vehicles. Balances and rotates tires on vehicles as required.

Cleans work areas, equipment and automotive parts using prescribed solvents and housekeeping methods.

Performs minor automotive repairs and adjustments, such as lubrication of vehicles, changing oil and replacement of accessories.

Responds to calls to take customers home and to drive vehicles into and out of service bay area.

Receives and inventories tires. Determines proper storage location by size and type of tire and stacks accordingly.

Inspects all tire casings making appropriate designation as to used versus scrap tires.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
