DOBCO, INC. β is a highly successful and growing public work General Contractor headquartered in Wayne, NJ (Passaic County) with multi-million dollar projects located in the states of NY / NJ and DE.
We are looking for an experienced MEP QC to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a high-profile construction project at the Dover Air Force Base. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in MEP project management, experience with large-scale commercial or public-sector projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management: Develop, manage, and implement detailed MEP plans that align with project specifications, schedules, and budgetary requirements.
- MEP Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure MEP installations align with project milestones and design standards.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee inspections and testing of MEP systems to maintain high standards of quality, ensuring compliance with building codes and project requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all MEP work is conducted in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies, identifying and addressing potential safety issues.
- Cost Control & Reporting: Track MEP expenses, monitor budget adherence, and prepare regular project reports on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues to prevent project delays and ensure continuity of work.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an MEP, preferably with a focus on large-scale commercial or public-sector projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong ability to lead MEP teams and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder management.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
