The Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Install Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation of high-speed fiber optic services directly to residential customers. This role requires managing and leading a team of installers, ensuring that all installations are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards. The supervisor will coordinate daily work schedules, monitor performance, provide training, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process. In addition, the FTTH Install Supervisor will maintain clear communication with customers and other teams, ensuring a smooth and high-quality service experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of fiber optic systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely and cost-effective installations.

- Overseeing the job and performance of the FTTH Installers and Drop Bury personal.
- Meeting with customers and making sure the customer is satisfied with the installation.
- The supervisor will schedule installs with the Installer and drop bury crew.
- Will have to take care of Right-Way for the drop bury.
- Take care of all customer complaints
- Coordinate with Network Ops and construction on FTTH Fit and Branch replacement.
- Take care of maintaining and ordering all supplies for FTTH.
- Report to their supervisor a weekly report of Incomplete Jobs and reason for incompletion.
- These duties can also include BAU Installs and Maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of experience performing related work as a Crew Leader.
- Experience scheduling crews, interfacing customers, generating reports, and managing the crew’s efforts in the field.
- Ensures compliance with all safety requirements and be able to perform certified safety training.
- Must be skilled using Microsoft Office software.

- Refrain from any unsafe act that might endanger him/herself or fellow workers.
- Obey all posted company, state, and federal hazard and traffic safety signs.
- Use all safety devices and personal protective equipment provided for their protection.
- Report all hazards, incidents, and near-miss occurrences to their immediate supervisor or Director of Safety within 2 hours, even if no injury or property damage occurred.
- Promptly report all injuries and suspected work-related illnesses, however slight, to his/her immediate supervisor or Director of Safety.
- Employees who drive company vehicles must possess a valid and appropriate driver’s license for driving the vehicle, and employees who operate company equipment must be trained and authorized.
- Employees operating company vehicles and equipment must comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Seat belt use is required while operating any company vehicle or equipment.
- Texting while driving is prohibited by Dobson Fiber policy and State Law.
- Participate in safety committee meetings, training sessions, and surveys as requested and provide input into improving safety.
- Notify your supervisor or Human Resources immediately of any change in physical or mental condition or use of prescription drugs or illegal drugs that would affect the employee’s job performance or the safety of him/herself or others.
- Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at any company facility, workplace, worksite, or when operating any company vehicle or equipment. Any employee, contractor, or subcontractor who works or reports to work under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination of employment or loss of contract.
