Dobson is seeking a Vice-President of Construction with relevant fiber optic construction, networking, financial tracking, and project management experience. In this role, your team will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and developing key metrics to deliver FTTH, Maintenance, BAU & MDU projects on time and on budget. Ability to manage several teams across Oklahoma & Arkansas a must.

- Develop and implement best practice processes for Buried and Aerial fiber construction and safety.
- Deliver telecommunications-based construction projects within the Dobson footprint for FTTH, Commercial, MDU and Maintenance.
- Ensure construction management teams are executing according to planned project timelines.
- Create reports and report out to the senior leadership team.
- Identify and address potential risks or challenges with current Dobson projects.
- Schedule project deliverables with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Work with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and track projects and status.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure all project documentation is appropriately updated in data repositories.
- Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools, and processes that support the workflow of projects. Suggest improvements.
- Ensure that all projects are correctly time coded and project costs are accurately tracked.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget.
- Travel within the markets to support construction practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Or related field experience.
- At least ten years leading teams, with five years leading others at lower management levels.
- Five years’ experience with GIS system usage preferred.
- Five years’ experience with MS Office products preferred
- Experience with an enterprise project management software platform such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate organizational leadership.
- Must be able to articulate your expertise and manage many fast-moving projects concurrently.
- Must be able to track and report on milestones, what milestones are at risk and why.
