By creating longevity for the appliances, we help save our clients money on costly damages, put off unnecessary purchases, and bring peace of mind to the home.
Job Duties and Responsibilities-
- Personal vehicle use with travel to and from client locations throughout a designated region
- Personal smart phone use for work purposes through the use of apps (clients will not have access to your personal number)
- Perform all expected services on clients’ residential appliances; this includes disassembling and reassembling them
- Provide repair options, estimates, and timeframes to customers, taking into account any product warranties they may have
- Advise clients on how to maintain and appropriately use their appliances throughout the year between maintenance services
- Maintain accurate records/pictures of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain residential appliances
- Billing, Invoicing and collecting payments from clients
- Accurately track working hours
- Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards (inventory provided by the company)
- Tech provides and maintains his own tools (specialty tools are provided)
- Complete all required technician training and proactively seek to remain a knowledgeable expert in the repair/maintenance industry
- Perform in your role and achieve your goals, providing excellent service and technical/repair support, and creating satisfied customers, in accordance with Doc Danielson Appliance Repair’s core values
Job Skills and Qualifications-
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Proven experience repairing, installing and maintaining residential appliances (2 years’ experience minimum)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- The ability to use various hand tools
- The ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- The ability to interact face-to-face with clients in their homes for extended periods of time
- Comfortable with exposure to dogs, cats and other pets that may be present in the clients’ homes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
Work Location-

- Prefer to have a candidate that lives in the Frisco/Plano/McKinney area
