Join our team as a talented Photographer and Photo Editor to help drive our brand’s visual storytelling to new heights! Doc’s Diesel, a leading online provider of high-quality truck parts and accessories, is expanding its reach and strengthening its online presence. As part of our Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating engaging, high-impact content for our eCommerce website and marketing channels, including our new division, Doc’s Filters.

We’re looking for a full-time professional with a creative eye, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling to develop and bring to life stunning product and lifestyle photography that connect with our nationwide audience. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION REPORTING TO DOC'S DIESEL HQ IN BRYAN, OH

Key Responsibilities:

• Spend 70% of the time shooting content, and 30% of time editing, organizing, and delivering files
• Plan, organize, and execute photo shoots, including product photography, lifestyle photography, and promotional photos/videos
• Export and deliver images in appropriate file formats for various platforms and uses
• Collaborate with the eCommerce team to develop creative concepts for visual content
• Capture high-quality photos and videos that showcase our products in the best lighting
• Apply preset color corrections and adjustments to ensure consistency across all images
• Edit, retouch, and enhance photos/videos to ensure they meet our quality standards and brand aesthetics
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in photography
• Ensure all final images meet resolution, format, and color profile requirements before publishing or sharing
• Manage and update a file library of assets and follow preset file naming structure
  • Ensure all files are properly named and structured according to company standards
  • Maintain and manage a well-organized file library, including categorizing, archiving, and backing up assets

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in content creation, photography/videography industry
• Experience with Product Photography and Post-Production Editing
• Proficiency in camera usage and shooting in MANUAL mode
• Proficiency with camera equipment and lighting equipment
• Proficiency with editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, and Photoshop
• Strong portfolio showcasing photography skills and image editing skills
• Experience with color correction, retouching, and applying reset filters for brand consistency
• Experience with studio lighting equipment both with constant and strobe lights
• Skilled in Google Drive and using a DAM to store and share assets across teams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Well-organized with high attention to detail
• Embody our company’s core values through your work and presence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with editing software Capture One is preferred but not required
• Background in automotive projects is preferred but not required
• Familiarity and knowledge of the latest social media trends and best practices for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Experience with drone photography and videography is not required but can add a dynamic edge to content
