The Host / Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome to Doc's guests, managing the phone lines, receiving and distributing take out orders, and escorting customers to their preferred dining areas, providing menus and silverware before communicating with service staff to ensure all parties are greeted in a timely manner. We do our best to cater to our local community and those who require extra attention.
Job Requirements :
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during entire shift
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor all dining areas
- Excellent communication skills via phone and in person with team members and guests
- Demonstrable customer service skills
- Experience managing reservations and a waitlist
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
