What you’ll Do
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused L1 Support Engineer to manage IT infrastructure and assist our team members with hardware and software-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving IT support services.
- Provide first-level technical support to team members, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and IT-related onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets by diagnosing problems and coordinating with L2/L3 support if required.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, security patches, and software updates to ensure a secure IT environment.
- Document IT support requests, solutions, and best practices to improve troubleshooting efficiency.
- Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT policies, security protocols, and system usage.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows, macOS, and common office applications (Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and IT security best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- IT certifications are a plus.
