Summary
As a Laborer at Dock Pros, Inc., you will be an integral part of our team responsible for supporting various duties within the shop and on occasion in the field. This role is vital to ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of doors and related hardware on job sites.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as required for various tasks.
- Support installation/service teams with building tasks including offloading of delivery trucks, staging equipment in the shop and yard, cleaning of shop and yard, receiving parts and materials. learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize power tools effectively for various construction activities.
- Participate in projects as needed to enhance site aesthetics.
- Conduct basic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with power tools and their applications in construction tasks.
- Ability to work effectively on a construction site environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
