Summary
As a Maitre D at Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Located in a vibrant waterfront setting, this role is essential in ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued while contributing to the overall ambiance of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle phone calls for reservations or inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the casual yet upscale vibe of Dockers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial but not required.
