Position Description
The brewery and cellar operator position is a generalist position requiring the completion of multiple tasks throughout the day. In this position you will be coordinating with all departments within the Brewpub along with suppliers and key marketing and branding members. Dockside Brewery is a seasonal business with increased workloads in the Spring and Summer months and lesser workloads in the Fall and Winter months.
Qualifications
- This position requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and an uncompromising commitment towards quality and continuous improvement
- 3 years of experience
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn
- Excellent time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your feet in a sometimes loud and temperature variable environment
- Ability to work in small and confined spaces
- Ability to repeatedly lift, walk distance, and walk up stairs with up to 55 lbs
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 165 lb
- Ability to maneuver up to 350lbs
- Abide by company PPE standards, chemical handling standards, and good manufacturing practices
- Experience with craft beer marketing, branding, and advertising strongly sought after
Benefits

Responsibilities
- Job Classification: Full-Time, Year-Round
- Executing a multitude of daily tasks in the brewery and cellar areas
- Wort production
- Recipe Development
- Yeast management including harvesting, dumping, and storage
- Fermentation and maturation management
- Racking, dry hopping, and carbonation
- CIP of brewhouse, fermentation vessels and other equipment
- General maintenance, organization, and cleaning of the brewery and cellar areas
- Keg washing and filling
- Draft system cleaning, maintenance, and advisory
- Quality checks, record keeping, and completion of checklists for wort production and in-process beer
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
