Duties
- Coordinate and manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to ensure that all necessary supplies are available for service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in training new staff members on proper procedures and protocols related to order management.
- Collaborate with bartending staff during busy shifts to ensure timely service of beverages.
- Support shift management by helping to oversee dining room operations during peak hours.
- Contribute to a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any guest concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred, including positions such as bartending, banquet service, or fine dining.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on inventory control and shift management.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration between team members.
