Overview
We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team and provide exceptional eye care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality eye care and improving patients' vision and overall eye health.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect any ocular abnormalities
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state optometry license
- Strong knowledge of optical principles, medical coding, and medical terminology
- Experience in pediatric optometry is a plus
- Proficient in conducting vital signs assessments and using aseptic techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
- Understanding of ocular anatomy and diseases
- Ability to engage in succession planning for patient care continuity

Pay: $151,809.00 - $164,335.00 per year
