Summary The Lab Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Pathologists and Pathology Technologists in the laboratory. The assistant will perform a variety of tasks including preparing and processing tissue samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the laboratory is clean and organized. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and process tissue samples for analysis.
- Assist Pathologists and Pathology Technologists in laboratory procedures, including but not limited to sending cases out for 2nd opinions or IDCs and removing slides from IHC machines.
- Routinely clean and organize laboratory equipment to ensure good working order.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
