What You’ll Do:
- Sleep Studies: Perform high-quality sleep studies (both in-lab and home studies), including monitoring, scoring, and troubleshooting polysomnographic equipment.
- Patient Interaction: Work directly with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure a comfortable testing environment.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and prepare detailed reports of sleep study results for interpretation by the physician.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all diagnostic equipment is calibrated, maintained, and prepared for use.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including sleep specialists, to provide a seamless patient care experience.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and documentation requirements to maintain high-quality standards of care.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Current RPSGT certification.
- Strong understanding of sleep study protocols and scoring guidelines.
- Proficiency in using polysomnographic equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 1 years of experience in a sleep lab or similar clinical setting.
- Familiarity with home sleep testing (HST) devices and processes.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
