Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Duties
- Conduct thorough health assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across various age groups.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Provide care in areas such as hospice palliative medicine, infectious disease care, and occupational health.
- Perform procedures including specimen collection processing, dermal fillers, and other minor surgical interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management, particularly for those with disabilities or requiring specialized care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Experience in pediatric care, particularly toddler care, is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine and infectious disease management is advantageous.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and the ability to lift patients when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and advocacy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership when needed.
