Locum Family Medicine Opportunity
We are seeking a board-certified family medicine physician to join our outpatient team in Guadalupe, CA.
About the Job:
- Start Date: Flexible (February 24th or ASAP)
- End Date: June 27th, with option to extend for an additional 3 months
This is an outpatient opportunity in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting, offering a stable and predictable schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients aged 0-120 years, including wellness exams, child development evaluations, chronic disease management, and acute care
- Conduct basic procedures, such as vaccinations, minor surgical procedures, and biopsies
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexibility to accept four 10-hour days per week.
Patient Volume: 20-23 patients per day, with all appointments pre-booked to minimize no-shows.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): AthenaHealth.
Licensure: Current California medical license required.
Credentials: Board certification in family medicine, clean NPDB report, and a valid California medical license.
