Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to provide locum coverage at our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work effectively in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver.
- Perform procedures such as pillcam capsule endoscopy, screening exams, ultrasounds (EUS), CT colonography, flexible sigmoidoscopy, double-contrast barium enema, FIT, gFOBT, stool DNA test, ERCP, endoscopy, and colonoscopy.
- Provide 24-hour on-call support with minimum 2-hour patient contact time.
- Participate in hospital rounding/call approximately 10 days per month.
Requirements:
- Active IN State License or IMLC.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Flu vaccination required or need medical or religious exemption.
- Covid vaccination required or need medical or religious exemption.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Procedure logs for the last 12 months.
