Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. You will perform a variety of dental procedures, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate medical records.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform general dentistry procedures including fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
- Provide specialized treatments such as root canal therapy and prosthodontics as needed.
- Deliver pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with practice policies and regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Skills
- Proficient in general dentistry practices with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience in root canal therapy and prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate patient information.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
