Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including performing root canal therapy and dental extractions.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide preventive care education to patients, including proper oral hygiene practices.
- Work with pediatric patients to deliver age-appropriate care and manage their unique needs.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
