Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various dental conditions while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health status and treatment needs.
- Conduct dental extractions and other surgical procedures with precision and care.
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Manage medical records accurately using software such as Epic and Eaglesoft.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed for patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Experience
- Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong emphasis on patient care.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft for managing patient records.
- Strong skills in dental fabrication techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
