Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record-keeping.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Provide specialized care in pediatrics when necessary.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset for effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience with infection control practices is essential to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Skills in performing complex procedures such as root canal therapy and dental extractions are highly desirable.
