Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform general dentistry procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
- Execute oral surgeries as needed while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix software.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental techniques and technologies.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in a dental office setting with proficiency in general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, care, and communication.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
