Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. Duties
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, including but not limited to oral surgery and endodontics.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and institutional policies.
- Implement infection control protocols to minimize risks during surgical procedures.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with patients and healthcare team members.
- Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.
- Participate in the development of treatment plans that prioritize patient care and recovery.
Skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices relevant to surgical environments.
- Excellent knowledge of dental fabrication processes as they relate to surgical procedures.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively during surgeries.
- Exceptional patient care skills, ensuring a compassionate approach towards all patients.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing conditions and determining appropriate surgical interventions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
