Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions.
- Perform necessary procedures such as catheterization and medical imaging as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and preventive care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices in urgent care medicine, including knowledge of internal medicine and dementia care.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following areas:
- Working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Neonatal ventilator management.
- Ophthalmology procedures and assessments.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for providing compassionate care in an urgent care environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
