Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including triage and diagnostic evaluations.
- Perform venipuncture and other necessary procedures while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Provide patient education on health management, preventive care, and follow-up procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with sterile processing protocols.
- Stay informed about advancements in urgent care practices, including esthetic laser treatment options.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and critical care principles, particularly in an ICU setting.
Experience
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with relevant state licensure.
- Proven experience in urgent care or similar clinical settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with triage protocols, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and patient care best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Experience in sterile processing and knowledge of HIPAA regulations are advantageous.
