Primary Care Opportunities in Southeast Indiana - Near Louisville and Cincinnati

Position : Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Openings : Multiple Openings - Upcoming Retirements

Compensation :

  • Base Pay (1-year guarantee) : $250,000
  • Productivity Bonus Compensation for RVUs in excess of agreed threshold
  • Sign-On Bonus : $50,000 for 3-year commitment
  • Work RVU Conversion Rate : $47
  • Vacation Time : 4 weeks for the first 3 years, 5 weeks thereafter
  • CME Hours (after first year of employment) : 40 hours of CME time off per year
  • CME & Dues Allowance (after first year of employment) : $4,000 per contract year
  • Relocation Assistance : Up to $10,000
  • Health & Retirement Benefits package : 401(K)
  • Hospital pays all incidental expenses, including Licensure, DEA, CSR, Malpractice (occurrence based and tail coverage provided)
  • Hospital covers nursing / reception staff salaries & benefits, managing staffing issues for the physician

Practice Structure :

  • 100% Outpatient practice
  • No nights or weekends
  • Four (4) day work week (10 hour days) or Five (5) day work week (8 hour days)
  • Office hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
  • Average volume : 20-25 patients per day
  • Very few telephone calls at night; critical labs will have the switchboard contact the ordering provider
  • Hospitalist team will cover patient admissions; ED will admit to Hospitalist team if inpatient care is needed
  • Lab and X-ray services on site
  • Full EMR : Meditech and LSS, transitioning to Epic in the future

    • Community Demographics : COPD, CHF, Elderly, Diabetes, Asthma, Emphysema, Breast, Colorectal, Lung, Prostate Cancer, Diabetes
