What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Engagement Associate position at DOCTORS HEALTHCARE PLANS, INC.?
Responsibilities:
- Initiate calls to members, to cultivate relationship with health plan, assess member satisfaction, identify concerns, and gather feedback to improve member experience.
- Work to build strong rapport and trust with members by actively listening, educating and guiding, providing important information and demonstrating empathy.
- Perform quality assurance calls with members who are disenrolling to understand their reasons, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate member records in the data system, documenting interactions and tracking progress for reporting and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting, with a focus on member engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability to connect with members, establish trust, and show genuine empathy in every interaction.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of member contacts efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism and empathy during challenging interactions.
