- Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Assist Accounting Manager with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance department
- Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries to the GL
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses
- Assist with Budgets and Actual vs Budget analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields, required
- Minimum five years’ experience in accounting
- Attention to detail, accuracy and organization
- Proven track record of good communication skills.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and Word
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Experience in healthcare industry preferred but not required
- Great Plains accounting system experience preferred but not required
