We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients.
In this role, you will demonstrate proficiency in assessment, treatment, and care for laboring moms and newborns. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to protect, promote and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering, and advocate for the care of individuals and families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Implement and evaluate care to achieve positive patient and unit outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
