Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 160 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.
Job Description
The Customer Service Liaison will greet and welcome patients, family members, visitors, vendors, other guests and employees in a professional manner at the main lobby front desk. The Customer Service Liaison will also provide clerical support to the executive team.
- Welcome patients, visitors, and vendors to DMH and facilitate check in and security processes.
- Support navigation processes to ensure that visitors reach their intended location.
- Provide accurate information to visitors on daily specialty clinics, meeting, special events, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors – greet with a smile, thank them for coming to DMH, etc.
- Perform lobby rounding as required to ensure patients are kept aware of wait time expectations.
- Assist in resolving real-time patient and visitor concerns.
- Adhere to confidentiality and patients’ rights policy as outlined in DMH’s Confidentiality Agreement.
- Provide clerical support to executive team, including meeting scheduling, managing meeting rooms, and board communication.
- Prepare materials for and take minutes during monthly Board meetings the last Tuesday of each month.
- Provide clerical support during Code Green (emergency) operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications required.
