Description

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Billing Insurance Authorization Specialist.

We are looking for a reliable and professional member of our team that is looking for longevity with a growing company. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience with medical claims and have good knowledge of coding and medical terminology.

Essential Functions :

  • Manage the completion & submission of provider applications with follow-up
  • Understand specific application requirements for each payer
  • Verify Insurance Benefits with a wide variety of insurance companies
  • Communicate on audit findings to appropriate staff members.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate; and a minimum of 1 year billing experience, with a good understanding of coding and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Maintain high levels of organization while being focused on details
  • Capable of a sense of urgency in all responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Capable of working independently
  • Reliability and longevity is a must
