NOW Hiring - Patient Care Coordinator Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Lafayette clinic. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include; Greet patientsEffectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits.Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy.Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources.Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation / Medical services and medical terminology.Answering phonesPatient registration / data entryScanning / faxing / other clerical dutiesCollecting copay's and patient balancesPatient scheduling-Schedule ManagementPatient Care assistance as neededStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of Insurance benefits Schedule : Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm Pay range : starting at $16.00
