Our walk-in clinic is a fast-growing multi-million-dollar urgent care corporation looking for a full-time Medical Assistant. We have 31 locations nationwide and staffing over 250 employees across 5 different states and have been recently featured on Inc. 5000 in 2021.
The Medical Assistant PRN job duties include but are not limited to:
- Patient registration/EMR
- Insurance verification
- Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft
- Vitals
- EKG
- Proficient in venipuncture and injections
- Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs
- In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing
- Prepare for suturing
- Sterilization, etc.
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- Medical Assistant Certification, Diploma, or 1yr experience (Preferred)
