Job Summary

This position is as a manager of the medical clinic and will include scheduling, managing volunteers, managing students, and ensuring doctors have the support needed. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering effective medical services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Duties
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic life support and emergency procedures when necessary.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling and managing patient files.
- Scheduling volunteers, students, and doctors.
- Managing lab and imaging results.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or urgent care facility.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient service.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Leadership and managerial skills necessary.
- Proficient in patient care techniques within hospital or clinic settings.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and basic life support techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate communication.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Experience in urgent care environments is advantageous but not required.
