Key Duties
Warehouse Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily workflow in our Suffern, NY warehouse.
- Handle administrative tasks, including preparing and managing paperwork.
- Track and manage shipments, including serial numbers, BOLs, tracking details, and required licenses.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, addressing inventory shortages and conducting periodic inventory counts.
- Manage damaged goods, warranty claims, insurance claims, and RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.
- Generate and submit reports on stock discrepancies, over/under shipments, and defective returns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding warranties, returns, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels for machines, parts, and supplies in warehouse software.
- Purchase inventory to maintain the recommendations are followed to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Train new and existing warehouse team members on systems, processes, and new operational procedures as they are implemented.
Physical & Operational Tasks (Take the Lead)
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Organize warehouse stock efficiently by product line, ensuring adequate space for overflow and proper labeling.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and maintain operator certification if required.
- Prioritize and stage materials for orders, including light assembly, labeling, and wrapping.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including daily housekeeping tasks and facility upkeep.
- Train new and existing warehouse team members on systems, processes, and new operational procedures as they are implemented.
- Monitor warehouse team timecards and oversee driver/warehouse associate operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics-related role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong knowledge of the copier and office equipment industry, particularly in the leasing and servicing of commercial-grade copiers and printers.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and self-motivated with sound decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management software, specifically EAutomate, is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining punctuality and consistent attendance.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
- Must be able to hear auditory alarms and analyze complex issues.
- Reliable transportation meeting minimum insurance requirements.
- Work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Occasional work outside normal business hours, including mornings and evenings.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds as needed.
